Each Step "We" Overtake

Be with me Father, as I take each step.

Hold me steady when I falter,

Life my eyes to see ahead

Help me celebrate the victory

Of each step "We" overtake.

When I fear to take a step,

Send someone with a hand,

To reach down and pull me up,

That I can take a stand.

I’ll see you at the top, Father.

As I take that final step

That places me in your arms,

Forever safe in your embrace.
