Notes

! At the same time period of Jean Foudre there was a Samuel Foudray/ Fowdrey/Fodrey/Fudrie wife Anna Van Der Ver. It is believed that this Samuel and Jean (Jon) were brothers. Incidently I have found, especially in the earliest Foudray's all these spellings. Reasons for this is mostly because some one else was trying to spell what they thought was being told to them. You have to keep in mind these people were French and spoke with a French accent when they came over here. They probably didn't have the " American language" mastered yet. Notice I used the phrase " American language" meaning this in a literal term. We really do not speak English as the Englishmen do.
