!Lusk - Sharkey Vows Exchanged paper dtd. Wednesday, January 20, 1954 Ceremony Is Held In Los Alamos, N.M. Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Lusk, of Second Mt. Pleasant community have returned from Los Alamos, N.M. where they attended the wedding of their son, Alvin Maurice Lusk and Miss Mary A. Sharkey, daughter of Mrs. Kathleen Bessey of Braintree, N.M. The single ring ceremony was read at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of the United church in Los Alamos with the pastor, the Rev. Eldred C. Kesinzenenga, officiating. Bridal music was played by Ernest Kalanus. The bride was given in marriage by the brother-in-law, Dr. Thomas Wimett. She wore a ballerina length dress. The bodice was white lace over net and the skirt was net over taffeta. Her veil was of illusion and fell shoulder length from a coronet band of beads. She carried white baby orchids. Mrs. Wilmett, sister of the bride was the matron of honor and she wore blue-gray faille and carried bronze and yellow chrysanthemums. The bridegroom was attended by his father and the ushers were Morris Fisher and Don Eiken, of Albuquerque, N.M. A reception was held in The Lodge. After the bride cut and served her husband the first piece of wedding cake, the remainder was cut and served by Mrs. Wilmett. The bride has been an airline hostess. The bridegroom is a pilot for TWA Airlines and has been stationed at San Francisco, Calif. for seven years. They will be at home at 912, 10th Avenue, San Mateo, Calif.
