Assumption: Sarah Tucker -(#1166) Father Ephraim Tucker Sr. Christ. 11 Sep 1774 New Jersey She was married to Benjamin Tucker son of James Tucker, supposedly no relation. Sarah is the sister of Ephraim Tucker Jr., son of Ephraim Tucker Sr. James C. was Ephraim Tucker Jr.'s son, which would make Sarah, James C.'s aunt. It appears James C. married his aunt. !From an older Tucker genealogy I got this; James Cole Tucker, son of Ephraim and Phebe Hand Tucker was born May 19, 1796 in Essex County, New Jersey, and was twin to Cornelius Frazee Tucker. He was twice married, the maiden name of the first wife is said to have been Tucker, a part of the family think they were related, others contend there was no relation. James C. Tucker died in Shelby County, Indiana and is buried in the Second Mount Pleasant Cemetery of Johnson County, Indiana. Records seem to indicate that he was the first of the children of Ephraim and Phebe Hand Tucker to come into Shelby County, Indiana. !Shelby County Court Records Probate Order Book B 1838-1842 James C.
